Stelliber Privacy Policy

Stelliber is a personal astrology app for iPhone and Mac. This policy explains exactly what it does — and doesn't do — with your information.

The short version

We don't collect, see, sell, or share your data. Everything you enter stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud. There are no accounts with us, no analytics, and no advertising. AI readings run on your device, or through your own AI key if you choose to add one.

What information Stelliber handles

To calculate charts, Stelliber works with the details you enter yourself, such as:

  • Names and birth details (date, time, and place) for yourself and anyone whose chart you create
  • Charts, notes, journal entries, and saved AI readings
  • Your app settings and notification preferences

This information is stored on your device. We, the developer, never receive it.

iCloud sync

If you're signed in to iCloud, Stelliber syncs your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit in your private iCloud database. That data is held in your personal iCloud account under your control — we have no access to it. Apple's handling of iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

AI readings

Stelliber can generate written readings grounded in your chart. This works one of two ways:

  • On-device (default, where supported): readings are produced by Apple Intelligence directly on your device. Nothing leaves the device.
  • Your own AI key (optional): if you choose to add your own Anthropic (Claude) API key, the chart context needed for a reading is sent from your device directly to Anthropic under your own account, subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We never see this data and never see your key.

Location & notifications

Stelliber does not track your device location — any birth or event place is one you enter or search for yourself. Transit and cosmic-weather notifications are scheduled locally on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Stelliber contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We do not build profiles, and there is no account to create with us.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays until you remove it. You can delete individual charts, readings, and journal entries in the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; to remove synced copies, delete Stelliber's data from your iCloud settings. Stelliber also offers manual backup and restore so you keep your own copies.

Children's privacy

Stelliber is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
